WHAT ARE LR PRESETS?

Light Room Presets are set combination of slider positions for future use on another image.  In other words, you can edit a photo to your liking and then save that exactly combination of slider positions for future use on another image.  Instead of manually editing a photo from scratch, a preset makes the big change and then you can make small edits from there. It’s like getting a big head start!
